Cornerstone Sites is me, Adam Lynes. The person you email is the person who designs your site, writes the setup, configures the domain and puts it live. Nothing is passed down a chain.

There are no account managers, no outsourcing, no sales team and no brief being handed to someone you've never spoken to. If you have a question about your website, you ask me, and I answer it.

I spent fifteen years working in technology and security for larger companies. The work was good; the pace was not. What I missed was the bit at the end where you hand someone something that works and they go and use it.

A small business doesn't need a strategy deck or a rebrand. It needs a website that loads quickly, tells people what it does, and gives them a way to get in touch. That's what I build.

Every price is published before you ask. Essential is £495, Business is £995, Local Business+ is £1,295, and Cornerstone Care is £49 a month if you want the site looked after afterwards. Each build price includes the design, the technical setup and the first 12 months of hosting.

You get a fixed quote before any work starts, and it doesn't move unless you ask for something that wasn't in the original scope. No day rates, no hourly billing, no invoice you didn't expect.

Your domain is registered in your name. Your content is yours. If you ever want to move somewhere else, I'll hand over the files you need to host the site elsewhere and help make the handover straightforward.

There's no proprietary website builder to be tied into, and nothing that stops working if you stop paying me. Being easy to leave keeps me honest.

I don't take on online shops, booking systems, memberships, custom CRMs or anything that needs a database. If you need one of those I'll say so, and I'll happily point you at someone who does it well. The packages, and the studio, are small on purpose.

Most people never need to read this bit — that's rather the point. But if you like to know what's underneath: every site is built as plain, fast HTML and CSS rather than a heavy content management system, so there's nothing to keep patching and very little that can break.

The sites run on Cloudflare: Pages for hosting, Workers for the contact form, Turnstile to keep spam out, Resend to deliver the emails and Web Analytics for visitor numbers. One account, one bill, one place to look when something needs checking.

These are deliberately boring, well-proven choices. I use the same setup for my own sites: if I'm going to put a client on it, it has to be good enough for me first.
