About
A small studio, run by one person.
Cornerstone Sites is Adam Lynes. I'm based in London, but I work with sole traders and small local businesses anywhere — the work is the same regardless of postcode.
Why I do this
I spent fifteen years working in technology and security for larger companies. The work was good; the pace was not. What I missed was the bit at the end where you hand someone something that works and they go and use it.
A small business doesn't need a platform, a strategy or a rebrand. It needs a website that loads quickly, tells people what you do, and gives them a way to get in touch. That's what I build.
What I won't do
I don't take on e-commerce, booking systems, memberships, custom CRMs or anything that needs a database. If you need one of those I'll tell you, and I'll happily recommend someone who does it well. The package and the studio are small on purpose.
What the stack looks like
Every site I build lives on Cloudflare — Pages for hosting, Workers for any dynamic bits (mostly the contact form), Turnstile for spam, Resend for email, Web Analytics for visitor counts. The whole stack is one account, one bill, one place to look when something goes wrong.
I use the same stack for my own sites. If I'm going to recommend it to a client, it has to work for me first.
The two sites in the wild
